Questions

Common questions

Are you solicitors?

No. Sorted Legal is not a law firm and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We prepare documents and letters that anyone is legally allowed to prepare. If you need a solicitor, we'll tell you.

Is a letter from you less effective than one from a solicitor?

A letter before action works because it sets out the facts, what you want and what happens next, as the court rules expect. Anyone can send one. We make sure yours is clear and complete.

Can you take my case to court?

No. We can help you prepare for the small claims track, but you file and run the claim yourself.

Who checks my document?

A trained member of our team, using our written review checklist. We don't describe reviewers as lawyers.
